Our Story...
1965
Bruno Savard decided to found his own company in 1965, specializing in the production of ornamental iron and welding.
P.S. Métal was born. Bruno worked hard and determinedly to ensure the success of his project.
At an early age, Bruno's son Pierre Savard wanted to join the company. He began working with his father at an early age, teaching him the trade.
1984
With greater ambitions, Pierre and Bruno acquire the land at 125 Boulevard Louis-XIV, where they build their new welding shop. Over the years, P.S. Metal established itself in the field of welding and fabrication of all kinds.
1990
Increasingly involved, Pierre officially joined forces with his father in 1990. Thanks to Pierre's determination, the company continues to innovate.
1992
Stéphane Côté joins the team, spending more than 20 years criss-crossing the city in his mobile unit.
1994
Pierre takes over the reins of a prosperous company well known in the community. He decides to go further and break new ground. He gives P.S. Métal its current look, specializing in institutional and commercial projects.
2004
With an interest in technology and development, Pierre modernizes the welding shop with the acquisition of his first CNC press brake and a digital shear.
2007
Always striving to improve, in 2007 Pierre adds a 5' x 10' CNC plasma cutting table.
Thanks to all these advances, P.S. Métal has succeeded in setting itself apart in the field of custom fabrication.
2008
Meanwhile, Pierre's daughter Sabrina Savard joined the team in 2008. With great passion, Pierre passes on his know-how and knowledge to his daughter. He continues to develop the company with the acquisition of a welding robot to manufacture our P.S-B100 barriers.
2014
Thanks to his experience and dedication, Stéphane takes his place within the company.
In 2014, he joined forces with Pierre, with whom he has been working for over 20 years. Gradually, Pierre makes way for his well-prepared successor.
2021
That's how Sabrina and Stéphane became partners in 2021.
Both committed to the success and continuity of P.S. Métal, they will continue to develop the family business, which has been well-established in its field since 1965.
2025
P.S. Métal will celebrate its sixtieth anniversary on May 1, 2025!
